Danish Parker Duofold Slimfold in Blue. A Rare Pen.

This Parker Duofold Slimfold was made, in Denmark, by the Olsen company under licence from Parker. The the barrel imprint reads: 'PARKER' 'SLIMFOLD' 'M.I.D.' The 'M.I.D.' signifies 'Made In Denmark' and the nib also carries a 'D' for denmark stamp. The pen has been serviced and tested and is in excellent working condition. It has a showroom finish, vey crisp imprint, and pristine Gold filling. The original 'pli-glass' ink sac is clear and unstained, always a sign of very little, careful use. The 14Ct. Gold Duofold nib, a Danish product, writes with a smooth, medium line and has a very pleasing 'soft' feel with just a suggestion of flex, a very easy writer. In addition to the imprints, the pen differs from the English made Duofold Slimfold in that, when posted, it is slightly longer at 15.2 cm., a good sized pen. The Danish production Parker Duofolds are hard to find. A Slimfold in such outstanding condition shows up very infrequenttly.
