A product of the Yakima Valley's colder climate, El Dorado has a unique and fruity flavor profile. It became available to the commercial market in 2010, developed by CLS Farms LLC. Country of origin: USA Vintage: 2023 Alpha acid content: 13.7% Package size: 100 grams Packaging: The hops are gently weighed, nitrogen flushed and sealed in light-tight aluminum-coated packaging for optimal shelf life. Flushing with nitrogen displaces oxygen that would otherwise degrade the quality of the hops. This method lowers the oxygen content in the bag to 0.6-0.8% oxygen which is very good for preserving quality/taste/aroma. The hop bag is stored cool at <4 degrees Celsius. The opened bag is squeezed together and closed with a ziplock for further storage in the refrigerator.
