aquaLUX MAX (1000m)
Model/Part Number: DWE-AQLMR1 Introducing the aquaLUX MAX: Our answer to those who demand the brightest possible light output while operating under strict power and size constraints. It is perfectly suited for demanding ROVs, AUVs, specialized subsea mapping, and SLAM applications. Impressive Output: Delivers a massive peak strobe brightness of over 13,000 lumens. Advanced Dimming & Strobe Sync: Control brightness via Direct PWM (0-100% duty cycle, 3-6V) or achieve perfect frame-synced illumination using direct strobe signals from stellarHD Elite cameras (recommended usage). Active Thermal Control: Features a built-in thermistor that automatically throttles light output levels to prevent heat damage. Compact & Easy to Mount: Small form factor featuring four built-in mounting holes for effortless vehicle integration. Depth Rated: Rated to 1,000 meters. To achieve this unprecedented power in such a compact form factor, the aquaLUX MAX utilizes the latest GaN (Gallium Nitride) drive technology for maximized electrical efficiency. Heat management is handled by an advanced metal 3D-printed heatsink to cool the controller, paired with custom LED cooling technology. This includes a custom-made copper PCB that uses direct thermal connections rather than standard vias to achieve previously unseen cooling capabilities. Operating at a high efficiency of 135 lumens per watt, it utilizes the absolute brightest LED available for its specific footprint. All of these electrical and thermal innovations combine to create the brightest subsea light available for its size. Compatibility & Upgrade Guide Upgrading from the original ultraLUX or aquaLUX Nano to the aquaLUX MAX? Please note that these two models are not drop-in replacements for one another. They have fundamentally different electrical specifications, particularly regarding their PWM logic limits and maximum power draw. Always double-check your system's specifications before swapping an ultraLUX/Nano for a MAX (or vice versa) to ensure compatibility and prevent hardware damage. Technical Data WARNING: SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY NOTICE The aquaLUX Nano and aquaLUX MAX have different electrical specifications and are not drop-in replacements for one another. Please check specifications to ensure compatibility. Visit our Technical Documentation for the latest information and guides.
