Aera Trucks Tight Kingpin

TKATT - After trialing the market of grade 8 kingpins, we have found a new much tighter option for both current, and older Aera Trucks Baseplates from K1 to K6. This is truly a TIGHT kingpin, and will necessitate putting the kingpin in the freezer overnight before assembly. Ensure the kingpin fully bottoms out before assembling. In the case of tighter baseplates such as K5, or certain batches of K3/K4 baseplates you may need to heat the baseplate in boiling water (with no pivot cup installed), or briefly use a propane torch to heat up the kingpin bore AND freeze the kingpin overnight,. If absolutely no movement is your goal, this is the kingpin for you.
