Bali Kintamani Natural
Feral has been testing new waters and expanding into the pacific growing regions to explore timeless terroirs and stunning new profiles. Our newest offering from Indonesia, this coffee is sourced from family-owned farms located in the Kintamani highlands on the island province of Bali. Coffee here is grown in the volcanic soils of Mount Agung along with citrus trees that provide shade and another source of income for the community co-ops. For generations, the primary processing method was washed, which is water intensive. At a time when many regions are witnessing water scarcity, steps were taken to begin drying whole ripe cherries in raised beds that were already used for drying parchment. The result is a rich, velvety coffee with notes of dark chocolate, cherry pie filling, banana creme, and subtle raspberry. 8oz | 226g
