The Vault Rustic Furniture — Corsicana, Texas The Rancher’s Reserve Chesterfield Sofa is built on a solid kiln-dried oak frame constructed with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery reinforced by glued corner blocks and metal brackets at all stress points. The frame is fully upholstered in full-grain leather with deep button tufting across the back, inside arms, and front panel in a uniform diamond pattern. The rolled arms extend the full height of the back to create the signature Chesterfield profile. The seat platform features eight-way hand-tied coil springs mounted on jute webbing, with each cushion containing high-density foam cores wrapped in down feathers to provide both support and a soft surface layer. The full-grain leather receives a pull-up wax finish that develops natural color variation and patina with use and age. The leather is hand-rubbed during finishing to enhance grain character and depth. All tufting buttons are hand-set and secured through the frame to ensure durability through years of use. The sofa’s construction allows for custom leather color selection, including espresso-brown, cognac, saddle tan, and charcoal, each developing unique wear marks that reflect the ranching heritage this piece honors. The base sits on turned wooden feet with felt pads to protect hardwood floors.
