Khurjeen Rug - Size: 10.2 x 7

The Khurjeen design comes from the Afghan tribal saddlebag tradition, and this rug brings that vocabulary into a format built for a room. Horizontal bands of small tribal motifs fill the steel blue field, punctuated by rows of bold diamond medallions in crimson and amber at each end. Hand knotted in dense wool pile with hand-finished fringe, it is made to be walked on daily and to look better for it. At 10 feet 2 inches by 7 feet, it centres a living room or fits comfortably under a large dining table.
