Gothic Sconce #4 Matte Black

Stoneware candle sconce, created by using hand rolled slabs of clay. Fired once to 1000 degrees celsius, then signed, waxed, and dipped into a matte black glaze. Once dry the piece is ready for its final 1240 degree firing. Never force a candle into the holder, instead shave the base of the candle down if necessary. Approximately: 8.5cm wide x 14.5cm tall.
