2008-2009 Chevrolet Express 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Custom Tuning

Black Bear Performance offers three different levels of custom tuning service for your 2008-2009 Chevrolet Express 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L (4-speed). 15-20hp gains are common with 10-20ft-lbs of torque on 89 octane for the 4.8L and 5.3L, while 20-25hp and 25-30ft-lbs gains for the 6.0L. Combine that with improved shift patterns, towing capabilities, throttle response and even fuel economy in many cases and you'll have what feels like a whole new vehicle! Additional service offerings include: Torque Management Modification/Removal Tire/Gear Change Calibration Speed and Rev Limiter Increase Accommodation of Most Modifications (Internal engine modifications, superchargers, turbochargers*, upgraded transmissions, etc). All 2007+ 5.3Ls owners are strongly encouraged to use a minimum of 89 octane at all times due to compression ratio. *Due to variability in turbocharger systems, they must be evaluated by our tuner prior to committing to any services. Additional tuning service/hardware may be required.
