Weinbach, Riesling Vignes du Precheur 2023

Variety: Riesling, Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Sylvaner Domaine Weinbach has been one of Alsace’s most iconic estates for centuries. Founded in 1612 by Capuchin monks, the estate takes its name from the small stream that runs through the property, meaning “the wine brook.” Today, the Faller family continues that legacy from their home in Kaysersberg, farming biodynamically and focusing on wines that reflect the character of Alsace’s incredible vineyards. Vignes du Prêcheur is a classic expression of Weinbach Riesling, sourced from vineyards surrounding Kaysersberg and crafted with the estate’s signature precision. The 2023 vintage was fermented with native yeasts and aged on fine lees, allowing the wine to build texture while preserving the freshness and energy that define Riesling from Alsace.
