'Bullion Roses' by Julie Clemett This design is created using the DMC Eco-Vita Organic Wool Thread Date: Saturday 26th September 2026 9.00-1.00pm at Broomfields Whilst the focus in this workshop is on learning to create the Bullion Roses you will also learn how to lay a small spray of flowers-this design is freehand so each of you designs will be different, the stitching for the leaves and stems and to create a background to enhance the bullion roses. For this design you will be stitching on a linen/cotton mix fabric with the choice of the roses being the colourway shown on the sample or a more apricot/terracotta shade (col. 301, 304, 505). Please be in touch of you would like another colour choice The workshop will teach you all the stitches required Bullion Knots French Knots Stem Stitch Fly Stitch Detached Chain This workshop would suit any beginner or an embroiderer who is wanting to learn a new stitching technique with the Eco-Vita threads Tutor: Julie Clemett (JC Embroidery) who has a wide range of embroidery interests but particularly enjoys using and combining traditional techniques into modern projects. Julie enjoys assisting students to master a new technique, building their confidence and to appreciate their developing talents Workshop is limited to 6 spaces Workshop Kit contains: Stitch guide (design is freehand), linen/cotton fabric, backing fabric, hoop for working and display, needles required, a skein of each colour of DMC Eco-Vita Organic Wool Threads required to complete.
