Vintage Movado Ladies Cocktail Watch Rolled Gold Mechanical 1950s

A petite Movado ladies cocktail watch in rolled gold, warranted 40 microns, Swiss made. The round case has stepped, faceted lugs and a fluted crown. The two-tone silvered dial shows a matte outer track and a lightly sunburst central medallion, with applied gold Arabic numerals at 12, 4 and 8, triangular markers at the other hours, and slim dauphine hands. Signed Movado above centre, Switzerland below. Fitted with a new black cordette strap and silver-tone end bits with a folding clasp. Some loss of plating consistent with age, light patina on the dial, and a scratch-free crystal.
