Unlike standard worm-gear clamps, which can pinch, shear, or cut into soft hoses as the perforated band is tightened, these European-style mini hose clamps (often referred to as nut-and-bolt or fuel line clamps) feature a completely smooth inner band with rolled edges. 3/8" - 13/32" range. 9 mm Aluzinc band provides 3x protection against corrosion over galvanized steel. Smooth band underside and rolled-up band edges protect hoses. Hose Protection The rolled-edge band prevents cut-in, making them ideal for German Fuel Hose. Uniform 360° Clamping The tightening force is distributed evenly around the entire circumference rather than concentrating tension at the screw housing. Precision Tensioning The metric nut-and-bolt mechanism allows for exact torque control without slipping or stripping the band perforations. Avoid mounting the fuel filter inside the engine bay. We recommend placing it near the transmission, adjacent to the point where the metal fuel line leaves the chassis. Regardless of the fuel components you choose, the best strategy is to know your air-cooled engine and check everything on a regular basis.
