Post Mount Facer

Our Post Mount Facing tool is a handy tool for removing paint, over molding or facing bosses perpendicular to the threaded hole. Since the frames and forks are usually either threaded after the fork is built or fixtured by the threaded hole, the threads are usually pretty square, but the metal around them often times needs to be squared up. A bare metal face also makes it easier to adjust brakes and can lead to a more solid feel. The tool works by threading a ground shoulder bolt into the brake boss and spinning the cutter around the bolt with a drill or ratchet. It's good for use on all frame materials if spun at appropriate RPM's. The tool is only compatible with post mount brakes. It will not work for IS or Flat Mount frames or forks. Recommended RPM's.
