Tetrad Midi Leather, Woven Wool & Chenille Sofa A beautiful and highly individual Tetrad Midi sofa, combining traditional British furniture craftsmanship with a carefully selected mixture of thick genuine leather hide, woven wool and soft chenille. Generously proportioned at 90” wide and 45” deep, this is a substantial sofa offering exceptionally deep, relaxed seating while retaining the distinctive character and quality associated with Tetrad furniture. The contrasting grey tones and naturally aged leather work beautifully together, creating an understated country-house look with plenty of character. ⸻ Design & Upholstery The Midi features substantial deep-buttoned arms and outer panels upholstered in thick quality genuine leather hide. The leather has a naturally aged appearance with attractive variations in tone, creasing and patina, giving the sofa its relaxed vintage character. The generously sized seat cushions are upholstered in a darker grey woven wool, providing a beautiful textural contrast against the lighter leather. Each seat cushion is finished with genuine leather piping made from the same leather hide used to upholster the arms and surrounding panels, neatly tying the two materials together. The exceptionally deep seating is complemented by a luxurious scatter-back arrangement of soft chenille cushions in complementary grey and deep navy tones. Selected scatter cushions are finished with decorative edging in a beautiful paisley design featuring light blue, navy blue and grey tones, introducing a subtle additional detail and connecting the different colours and textures used throughout the sofa. The thick genuine leather hide displays natural creasing, tonal variation and an aged appearance, together with some occasional marks and areas of sun fading from previous use. The Midi has considerably less sun fading than the matching Grande sofa, although some natural variation in colour remains visible across the leather. The darker grey woven wool seat cushions present well overall, with some signs of previous use and the occasional pull to the fabric. The chenille scatter-back cushions and coordinating decorative cushions also present well. These characteristics are consistent with the relaxed, naturally aged appearance of the piece and have been photographed as clearly as possible. Structurally, this remains a heavy, substantial and exceptionally comfortable Tetrad sofa, offering wonderfully generous seating.
