Faceted Green Jadeite Moon Necklace Green Jadeite Beneath a Crescent Moon Jadeite from Myanmar, cut by a lapidarist in Japan, hangs beneath a crescent moon made in 18k gold. Its slender hexagonal form has broad, loosely arranged facets across the front and a softly rounded, cabochon-like back. From the front, the jadeite looks crisp and elongated, while the irregular rhythm of its facets keeps the geometry from feeling too precise. Turn it over and a different shape appears: rather than lying flat, the back rises into a smooth, generous curve. That contrast gives the stone character on both sides. Its green remains noticeable from a distance without being vivid, complemented by the warm color of the crescent moon above it. Up close, turning the piece over reveals a detail reserved for the person holding or wearing it.
