Porta del Vento, "Voria Orange" NV

50/50 biodynamically cultivated Catarratto & Grillo in the sandy soils high above the city of Monreale in the northwest of Sicily. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and spontaneously ferment (separately) with the skins for several weeks prior to pressing and blending. Aging in cement vat prior to bottling with some must of the base wine for secondary fermentation in bottle. Unfined, unfiltered, undisgorged, no additional SO2.
