The handmade Topkapı Kaftan Dress, made from a blend of cotton and pure linen, was meticulously shaped by an artisan's hands; and then came to life as a "BEADED PRAYER BEAD LACE" at the fingertips of a talented Turkish woman. The Topkapı Kaftan Dress was given its name due to the Prayer Bead Lace, which resembles small beads, and this lace originated in the Namrun Çamlıyayla region. The prayer bead lace was made with the small, bead-like seeds collected from the rosary flower tree growing on the foothills of Çamlıyayla… Holes were drilled into these seeds, strung like prayer beads, and also used in lace craftsmanship. Under the influence of her surroundings, Turkish women expressed their feelings and thoughts with colors and motifs in their laces. %100 linen fabric is used. Professional dry cleaning is possible.
