American Streamlined Electric Locomotive

Two noses, five gold lines, and no need to turn around. The great electric streamliners of America's golden railroad age were double-ended — a rounded, sculpted nose at each extreme, so the locomotive never had to be turned. This build recreates that silhouette in 1,444 pieces and 55 cm of deep crimson bodywork, five gold pinstripes sweeping the full length from nose to nose. Twin articulated pantographs rise from the roof, black running gear carries the body low over its bogies, and the included track section runs beneath an overhead signal gantry complete with speed and crossing signage.
