The Gestational Diabetes (GDM) Traffic Light Tool has been developed through an evidence-based health systems change approach from identifying the gaps in the current GDM care pathway to reduce type 2 diabetes risk. The GDM Traffic Light Tool is a simple 'red, amber and green' concept which helps the public identify their risk of type 2 diabetes following GDM and most importantly ensure follow up checks have happened and they have received access to support. The resource can also be used by healthcare professionals to give to their patients wo have had GDM and at risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Available to download.
