Designed by Academy Award-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming and originally made by Academy Costumes, the shirt appears in the very first scene Daniel Craig filmed as James Bond. Twenty years later, Academy has returned to the original patterns and techniques to reproduce the design in partnership with Anthony Sinclair. Cut from the original Liberty printed cotton fabric, the shirt retains every characteristic of the screen-worn original. It features a soft spear-point collar, a square hem with side vents and short sleeves finished with adjustable button tabs, allowing the sleeve opening to be worn closer to the arm or more relaxed. Although instantly recognisable to Bond enthusiasts, the Madagascar Shirt stands comfortably on its own as a refined summer shirt. The bold Liberty print is balanced by a clean, understated silhouette, making it equally at home on the coast, by the pool or in the city. This is a Limited Edition recreation, made in England and produced exclusively to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of Daniel Craig's debut as 007.
