2019 Old Vines Shiraz - DOZEN

This classic Hunter Shiraz has been aged to perfection under screw-cap. It's only just reached its peak drinking window and has plenty of cellaring life left in it. Deep red in colour. Beautiful nose, full of dark fruits - plums, blackberries and blackcurrants. Peppery tannins, still powerful but somewhat softened by time in the bottle, still providing plenty of structure and amazing balance of flavours. It's deliciously savoury, with a lingering extra-long finish. Ideal with roast beef, lamb shanks, BBQ roasted veggies or a cheese platter. Decant or let it breathe for approx. 30 mins after opening.
