Davis Mandolins - 2003 Custom F-Style - USED

This 2003 Custom F-Style Davis mandolin is a wonderful luthier built instrument. Featuring a beautiful flamed maple back and sides as well as an elegantly carved spruce top this mandolin delivers a rich amount of volume with a hearty chop, and plenty of warmth and body to boot. Here in Very Good condition for being 20-plus-years, this is mandolin that got played and has the honest wear to prove it. There are several knicks and scuffs along the body, some finish peeling on the scroll, playwear along the upper right bout, and some wear along the back of the neck. A Mass Street refret and setup here in our shop has this mando in great playing condition. Built by local luthier Bill Davis, this is a wonderful example of a Kansas-made mandolin.
