Name: Amischotolype marginata Description: Amischotolype marginata is a rhizomatous perennial native to tropical Southeast Asia with thick green leaves that have a purple underside. This shade loving member of the Commelinaceae family (think Tradescantia/Spiderwort) is a fast grower and in ideal conditions will produce clusters of flowers directly on the stem. NOTE: The item pictured is similar to the plant you will receive. The size, shape, color and number of leaves may sometimes vary.
