The RGD71ALMS is a multi-scale seven-string, combining the RGD platform's low-tuning focus with fanned frets and active electronics. Multi-Scale Construction Fanned frets give each string its own scale length: longer on the bass side for tension and articulation in low tunings, shorter on the treble side for comfortable bending and a warmer high end. The angled frets follow the natural arc of the fretting hand across the neck, and most players find the transition takes a session or two at most.
