75 YEARS OF PORSCHE MOTORSPORT: 356 SL LE MANS POSTER
75 years ago, Porsche were barely settled into their first real factory, one model to their name, and someone had the nerve to suggest they take it to Le Mans. What followed is, at this point, almost impossible to summarise. The breadth of what Porsche have built in motorsport is so vast and so relentlessly impressive that racing and Porsche are more or less inseparable concepts now. Trying to distill three quarters of a century into a handful of moments felt like a fool’s errand, but we gave it a go anyway with the new limited Type 7 motorsport poster series honouring the moments that defined that momentous legacy. This poster features the legendary chassis 356 Super Light #46, onboard which Auguste Veuillet and Edmond Mouche claimed Porsche’s first Class Victory at the 1951 24 Hours of Le Mans, writing down the name of Porsche in the race’s golden book for the first of many, many times. Designed in-house by the Type 7 team and offset-printed on heavy stock paper, the poster is part of a series of six, available exclusively on headers-inc.com. Limited pieces. --- DESIGNED BY THE TYPE 7 TEAM OFFSET PRINTING ON MUNKEN DESIGN POLAR 240GSM PAPER 84.1 X 59.4 CM PRINTED IN THE NETHERLANDS DELIVERED ROLLED UP IN A TUBE – FRAME NOT INCLUDED ORDERS WILL BE READY FOR COLLECTION / DELIVERY UPON ARRIVAL IN SEPTEMBER 2026.
