SigFire™ Crabapple

SigFire™ is nothing short of an extraordinary, rather large crabapple. In the very northernmost region (Zone 3- 4b), it is a valuable winter food source for wildlife, including white-tailed deer. As you move farther south, it’s just an incredible attraction in November and December; the tree is producing fruit just slightly smaller than a golf ball and is overproducing on that year-old wood, making it a great tree for wildlife. The tree is super clean, with zero signs of major apple tree diseases. The crabapple has experienced ambient temperatures as low as -40 degrees many times, making it suitable for plant hardiness zones 3a-7. This crab will reach a mature height of 25+.
