Red, White & Berry | Soap Bar
A rocket pop, reincarnated. Same three colors, better manners, and it won't melt down your arm. Three layers, stacked the way the good popsicles always were: soft red up top, cream in the middle, dusty blue on the bottom. It smells like strawberry lemonade that somebody spiked with a whole pint of mixed berries, blueberry and blackberry and raspberry, sweet and tart and bright the way a firework is bright. Loud, in the best way. Underneath the spectacle it's a real bar. Cold-process, made from scratch in our Oregon studio, with coconut, safflower, and sustainably sourced palm doing the actual cleaning while kaolin clay keeps the lather creamy instead of squeaky. The red, white, and blue come from mica and a little iron oxide, never synthetic dye, so every bar pours a slightly different shade of patriotic. No two are twins. We're fine with that. "I grew up on the bottom-of-the-cooler popsicle, the one with three colors and a stick that left splinters. This is that, but make it loud. I wanted a bar that looks like a firework going off and washes like a slow Saturday, red, white, and blue, the whole Fourth of July you can hold in one hand. Fun is allowed to be well made." — Emily Whitlock, Co-Founder & Formulator Why You'll Love The Red, White & Berry Soap Bar Looks like the Fourth, lasts like a soap: three hand-poured layers in soft red, cream, and dusty blue. The rocket pop, minus the drip and the popsicle headache. Sweet, tart, bright: strawberry lemonade leads, and a mixed-berry chord of blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry follows it around. Real cleansing oils: coconut, safflower, and sustainably sourced palm, cold-processed for a creamy lather instead of a stripped-out squeak. Color from the earth, not a lab: mica and iron oxide for the stripes, kaolin clay for a soft, silky finish that suits sensitive skin. Vegan and clean: the phthalate-free fragrance is exactly that. No phthalates, no animal anything, none of the usual junk. How to Use It Work it into a lather between wet hands or a washcloth, then take it wherever the day got on you. Park it on a draining dish between uses. A bar this colorful hates sitting in its own puddle, and a dry bar lasts a lot longer. That's the whole trick. Key Ingredients Coconut Oil The big, bubbly lather. Blended with safflower and sustainably sourced palm for a bar that cleans without leaving skin tight. Kaolin Clay Pink and white, for a silky slip and a gentle feel that sensitive skin gets along with. Mica The mineral behind the red, white, and blue. A bit of iron oxide and a little blueberry powder round out the color. No synthetic dye anywhere. Phthalate-Free Fragrance The strawberry-lemonade-and-berry scent, and phthalate-free the way every fragrance we use is. Goes Well With Cherry Bomb | Tub Truffle: the partner in crime. Wash with the bar, then drop the bomb in the tub and let the whole Fourth of July happen in one bath. Retro Rainbow | Soap Bar: same loud, colorful, specialty-bar streak, just the whole spectrum instead of three stripes. If one bright bar was good, two is a parade. Uplifting Mango Tea | Foaming Sugar Scrub Polish: stay in the fruit aisle. Lather the bar, then polish with a tropical scrub that foams up like a smoothie and rinses clean. Summer skin, sorted. Stack it by the tub and let July hang around a while longer.
