The Optixcare Eye Lube Plus Home Kit from Aventix is an all-in-one package for at-home management of chronic dry eye and ocular surface conditions in dogs and cats. Its centrepiece is Optixcare Eye Lube Plus, a hyaluronic acid ocular lubricant for sustained moisture support on the corneal and conjunctival surface. Hyaluronic acid binds large volumes of water - up to 1,000 times its own weight - forming a stable hydrating film that resists evaporation and supports the natural tear film. This makes it well suited to pets with qualitative tear film deficiencies, where tear production is adequate but the lipid or mucin layer is disrupted. It's appropriate for diagnosed dry eye, post-surgical ocular recovery, breed-related exposure keratitis, and age-related lubrication needs, and can be used alongside prescribed veterinary eye medications.
