Built around an Athearn diecast metal chassis and rubber-band drive mechanism, this set was issued in the early 1970s to commemorate the opening of the BART system. Features & Details: Set Includes: 2x Lead Cab 'A' Cars (#110, #112) and 1x Center 'B' Car. Build & Drive: Built on heavy Athearn diecast metal frames featuring rubber-band drive operation with metal wheelsets. Cosmetics: Silver/aluminum-finish shells with crisp blue BART logos, window decals, and clean white nose cones. Original Documentation: Comes with original assembly/instruction sheet, "All About BART" system map/booklet, and spare drive band/hardware baggie. Packaging: Includes original striped BART outer box with internal foam tray inserts. Condition Notes: Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall.
