Vintage Cassina Wink Lounge Chair
Designed by Toshiyuki Kita, made in Italy, the Cassina Wink unfolds from armchair to chaise-lounge. Designed in 1980 and still in production today. Ergonomically designed with contoured cushions and adjustable backrest tilt, the chair conforms to the shape of the body. The name is a winking nod to Toshiyuki's whimsical aesthetic. This chair can be styled in classic, minimalist white or with new Kvadrat Sahco European fabric slip covers in Ink (body) and Ochre (headrest). The upholstery beneath the covers is white, so you can decide which look suits your space, or alternate between the two. Fabric: White base (recovered 2.5 years ago) in as new condition, or with new Kvadrat Sahco slip covers modelled on the original "bikini" design featured in MOMA's Toshiyuki Kita archive.
