Autodarts Vantage - Automated Scoring System

The Winmau Autodarts Vantage is a camera-based automatic scoring system that mounts to a Winmau Plasma dartboard lighting unit and scores steel-tip play in real time. Three pre-assembled camera arms read the position of each dart in the board and send the result over a single USB connection to a laptop or desktop running the free Autodarts software, which works on Windows, macOS and Linux. The housing is injection-moulded PC-ABS with internal reinforcing frames and no exposed screws, and the arms clip onto wall adapters using push-button catches, so the unit can be removed without tools. Detection accuracy is rated at over 99% for both score and dart position, which is what allows the system to run full games and record throw-by-throw statistics without manual input. Three cameras rather than one give the software multiple angles on the board, so darts that sit behind or against another dart still resolve to the correct bed. Automatic calibration means the system reads the board layout itself rather than requiring measured setup, and the 3-in-1 USB cable carries both power and data on one lead, so no separate power supply or mains outlet is needed at the board. The software is free with no subscription, and covers scored match play, training routines, statistics tracking and online play against other users.
