Growing wild - bowl Many smaller circles fused into 15mm deep block, then heated to an almost liquid state that allowed the glass to spread to its natural 6mm thickness. This stretched the multiple iridized and reactive layers, creating the netting and veining interspersed with iridescence. The resulting blank was then cold worked back into a circle and kiln formed into a perfect curve bowl, enhancing the patterning's organic stretching and depth. Absolutely one of a kind, because the patterning can never be exactly replicated. 220mm diam Food safe, handwash only.
