We’re kicking off a brand-new Thursday night mini-series this September, and we’re going posh. Final stop: Tuscany. This is one for the proper wine lovers. We’ll be opening some of the best bottles we can get our hands on and taking a deeper dive into one of the most famous wine regions on the planet. We’ll go beyond everyday Chianti to explore the different faces of Tuscany, from traditional Sangiovese and famous appellations to the winemakers who decided the rulebook wasn’t quite for them. Along the way, we’ll look at altitude, soils, oak and ageing and how these all shape the wines in your glass. Hosted by Evelyn, expect beautiful Sangiovese, some of Tuscany’s biggest names, seriously smart reds and something suitably spectacular to finish the series. No stuffiness. No wine snobbery. Just a chance to taste some properly brilliant Tuscan wine and understand why wine lovers get so obsessed with the place. Posh wines. Proper deep dive. Still very much Vino Gusto.
