Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ – NVMe SSD Expansion Board
Description The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ is an expansion board designed to connect M.2 peripherals such as NVMe SSDs and AI accelerators to the Raspberry Pi 5 via its PCIe 2.0 interface. It supports data transfer speeds of up to 500 MB/s and interfaces with the Raspberry Pi 5 through a single-lane PCI Express connection using a 16-pin, 0.5 mm pitch FPC connector. The board supports M.2 M-key devices in 2230 and 2242 form factors and can supply up to 3 A of power to connected peripherals. It conforms to the Raspberry Pi HAT+ specification and is automatically detected by current Raspberry Pi software and firmware. The board is supplied with a 16 mm stacking header and threaded spacers, allowing installation with the Raspberry Pi Active Cooler fitted.
