Edmund Crouchback, Earl of Leicester
Edmund Crouchback (1245-1296) was an English prince, son of King Henry III and a prominent military commander who acquired vast wealth and huge estates throughout England. He took part in the Ninth Crusade as well as campaigns in Wales and France where he died at Bayonne in 1296.
