Beat Konducta Vol. 1-2 (Siren Split Edition)

Beat Konducta Vol. 1-2: Movie Scenes & Movie Scenes, the Sequel were the first official releases in Madlib's Beat Konducta series (Vol. 1 in late 2005 and Vol. 2 in 2006). They followed one unofficial release as part of our early-2000s Fan Club 45 series, Beat Konducta Vol. 0 (which we’ve made available for the first time since – only in our Beat Konducta Box Set). Vol. 1: Movie Scenes and Vol. 2: Movie Scenes, the Sequel are instrumental hip-hop productions by Madlib presented in the style of ‘70s TV and film library records. 35 total scenes directed by Otis - an hour of original soundscapes. Instrumental classics like “The Payback (Gotta)”, “Pyramids (Change)”, and “Understanding (Comprehension)” all make their debut here.
