Peach Steel Shrimp Peach Steel Caridina Shrimp are a unique, selectively bred freshwater shrimp. They’re closely related to Blue Steel Shrimp and Peach Bolt Shrimp lines, they often display a beautiful milky overcoat with warm peachy/orange tones that give each shrimp its own distinct look. The Peach Steel Caridina Shrimp we offer come from the same trusted local breeder who supplies a lot of our high end Caridina shrimp, and we’ve been consistently impressed with the quality and coloration they produce! Like other high grade Caridina shrimp, they thrive in stable, well established aquariums with soft, slightly acidic water and consistent water parameters. Peach Steel Shrimp are constantly grazing throughout the aquarium, feeding on biofilm, algae, and leftover food. While they won’t replace regular tank maintenance, they do help clean up natural surfaces as they explore! Their peaceful nature makes them a great addition to shrimp colonies and community tanks with other small, non-aggressive species, bringing both color and activity to a well-established aquarium.
