Wilda-M 50/1000mg Tablet contains a combination of Vildagliptin 50mg + Metformin 1000mg, used to help control blood glucose levels in adults with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is generally prescribed together with a balanced diet, regular physical activity and appropriate blood-glucose monitoring. Vildagliptin helps improve the body's glucose-dependent insulin response, while Metformin helps reduce glucose production by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. Uses of Wilda-M 50/1000mg Wilda-M may be prescribed for: Type 2 diabetes mellitus Improving blood sugar control when diet and exercise are insufficient Patients requiring combination treatment with Vildagliptin and Metformin Long-term management of blood glucose under medical supervision Wilda-M is not used for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
