The Clovis Bio 2027 edition is a winter chest zip fullsuit built for performance first: warm, flexible and lightweight, on a completely new pattern. It carries the Saint Jacques look, with its subtle Breton stripe detail. And on top of that, its foam is bio-based, made from natural rubber and oyster shells. DESCRIPTION Performance first. For this 2027 edition, the Clovis has been fully re-patterned. The chest zip sits close to the chest and the cut has no pressure points: you forget you're wearing it, from the first wave to the last. Warm: the FLASH thermal lining, from chest to knees, holds in body heat. Glued and blind-stitched (GBS) seams taped on the inside, plus liquid seal cuffs and ankles, keep water out. Flex: natural rubber delivers genuine stretch that follows every paddle stroke, swim stroke, rotation and stance. Lightweight: the lining dries fast, so you can stack sessions in a suit that stays light. Good-looking, of course. Deep blue, a burgundy sleeve and fine white Breton stripes: an understated yet distinctive look you'll spot in the line-up. And bio-based, too. At Saint Jacques, we know a thing or two about shells. For the Clovis Bio, it's oyster shells: ground into powder, they replace quarried limestone in the foam. Combined with natural hevea rubber, vegetable oils and tea stalk powder, they create a USDA Certified Biobased foam that relies less on petrochemical resources than conventional neoprene.
