Duncombe Corten Steel Bottomless Trough Planter
The Duncombe Bottomless Corten Steel Planter is handcrafted from premium 2mm or 3mm Corten steel, designed to weather naturally and develop the distinctive orange-brown patina that has made Corten a favourite amongst garden designers and landscape architects. Its bottomless construction allows plants, shrubs and trees to establish directly into the ground, encouraging healthier root growth while retaining the striking architectural appearance of a raised planter. Pre-weathering accelerant and full customisation are available. Perfect for both residential gardens and commercial landscapes, the Duncombe Bottomless Corten Steel Planter combines contemporary design with exceptional durability. The natural weathering process creates a rich industrial finish that complements modern, minimalist and urban gardens, while its earthy tones blend effortlessly into more traditional planting schemes and natural materials. The bottomless design also improves drainage and allows unrestricted root development, making it ideal for specimen trees, ornamental grasses, shrubs and permanent planting displays. Available in a range of sizes with full bespoke manufacturing available, the Duncombe can also be customised with alternative dimensions, laser-cut designs or corporate branding to suit your project. Delivered in its natural unweathered steel finish, the characteristic Corten patina develops over time when exposed to the elements, creating a truly unique planter that is built to last for decades.
