Summer - Sweetpea ‘Tickled Pink’

These beautiful flowers have a classic strong sweet pea fragrance which filled the room as I was painting them in the studio. The flowers made very lovely blue shadows on the table. Hand-painted with archive quality watercolours on thick watercolour paper. This is part of a series of seasonal paintings of flowers and wildlife from the cottage garden. The paintings are all in the same size, tall panel format so can be displayed alone or as sets. Best framed under UV glass to preserve the delicate watercolour washes.
