DBL Helix Test Notes: The Star Sync is a fantastic disc but I took me awhile to figure it out. My first throw was with a high and with a touch of anhyzer. The Sync held it the entire flight giving me a beautiful right to left moving shape. So is it understable? My next threw it hard and with a touch of Hyzer and it held that angle perfectly. Wait, is it overstable? Then I threw it nice and flat and it held perfectly flat the entire flight. That's when I realized the Star Sync is actually very neural with a lot of integrity and will hold any line you put it on. From then out it was an absolute joy throwing the Sync as I could shape any line I wanted with it. The one I was throwing was very flat top and very very neural. A few of the one we got in have slight Dome and I expect these domey ones will have a touch more stability. The Star Sync is the real deal as a throwing putter and I expect people will enjoy putting with the DX variation as well. The DX Sync's feel very low profile and flat-top in hand and have excellent grip while still being nice and stiff. Whether to throw or putt, Grab yourself a Sync and see if you Sync with it.
