Join us for our 3rd Annual Jambalaya Cook-Off sponsored by Visit Baton Rouge. Date: August 22nd, 2026 Location: Perkins Rowe Town Square near the Cinemark Jambalaya Cook-Off will begin during the Ultimate Tailgate. Eating will begin around noon after our local foodie begin judging. We will have two winners: Judges Pick & People's Choice (that's you) Purchase your jambalaya food tickets for the People's choice to judge and all money donated from ticket sales will go 100% to The Petey's Scholarship, as they are our charitable arm to this years 8th Sweet Baton Rouge® Ultimate Tailgate.
