Petzl ASAP with ASAP’SORBER AXESS The Petzl ASAP with ASAP’SORBER AXESS combines Petzl’s compact ASAP mobile fall arrester with the 40 cm ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber to create a practical fall protection solution for professional rope access and work-at-height applications. During normal use, the ASAP follows the user freely along the safety rope without requiring manual operation. In the event of a fall or uncontrolled descent, the device locks onto the rope to arrest the fall. It can be installed or removed at any point on the rope and is suitable for use on vertical, horizontal or angled rope systems. The included ASAP’SORBER AXESS provides additional separation from the safety rope to free up working space and uses progressive tear webbing to limit impact forces during a fall. It is particularly suited to rope access technicians who may need to carry out a rescue, with a two-person rescue capacity of up to 250 kg.
