Mor Pankh
Mor Pankh — The Monsoon Edition Three days. One brushstroke at a time. Twenty-five tumblers in the world. Every monsoon, the peacock dances. In Rajasthan's miniature art tradition, no motif is more sacred, more celebrated, more alive than the mor pankh. This tumbler carries that tradition on its surface — hand-painted, not printed, by Kailash Chandra Jangid, a National Award-winning miniature artist from Jaipur, whose craft has been practiced and passed down through generations of Rajasthani art lineage. It takes him three full days to paint a single peacock — every feather, every eye, every branch of blossom, by hand. No two are ever identical. No two are ever rushed. Which is why this first edition exists in just 25 pieces. This isn't a tumbler with art on it. It's art you happen to drink from. The Details Hand-painted by Kailash Chandra Jangid, Jaipur — 3 days per piece Limited to 25 pieces — first edition Inspired by the Indian monsoon and traditional Rajasthani miniature art Insulated, spill-proof, holds hot & cold Comes with a certificate of authenticity, numbered to your piece Care Instructions Because this is hand-painted, not printed, it asks for a little more care than your everyday Kixa: Hand wash only, with a soft cloth — no dishwasher Avoid vigorous scrubbing or abrasive sponges around the painted area Wipe dry immediately after washing Treat it like the piece of art it is — and it will outlast every monsoon to come.
