Werther Side Table

Werther is a one-off side table exploring the almost three-dimensional effect of quilted wood grain. The solid sapele top has softly rounded edges and a smooth lacquered finish, enhancing the richly figured surface and its deep caramel tones - a playful reference to the sweet that inspired its name. The rounded top is supported by four hand-turned sapele pillars set into a simple ebonised oak base. Its strong geometric construction contrasts neatly with the warmth and curves of the top, giving the table a distinctive slightly Eastern silhouette.
