Pink Granite Stone Box

A beautiful box made from pink granite. Originally used as a cigarette box, the interior of the lid and base are black Agate. A gilt metal hinge joins the top and bottom sections. Pink granite is an igneous rock, primarily composed of quartz, potassium feldspar (giving the distinctive pink colour), and mica. Dimensions: 14.5 cm/5⅞ inches (length) x 9.75 cm/3⅞ inches (depth) x 3.5 cm/1⅜ inches (height).
