Fibershed Cotton-Linen Yardage

This fabric is the result of a special collaboration between myself and the Piedmont Fibershed. It features an organic and USA grown and processed cotton for the warp, and a beautiful discontinued linen yarn spun from european flax. The fabric is a medium to light weight, with a light drape and a crisp hand. The yarn is undyed and will result in a lightly cream-colored fabric, perfect for natural dyeing -- that's what we plan to do with it! This fabric is currently being woven at the Piedmont FiberLab in Burlington, NC. It will be ready for pickup (in Durham or Burlington) or to ship by mid-August. Fabric Details Fiber: 50% USA grown organic cotton, 50% European flax linen Natural / undyed cream color Medium-weight, perfect for summer dresses, skirts or shirts Width: 45" (washed) This fabric is purchased by-the-yard, and will be cut to length. The quantity you select is for the total number of yards you wish to purchase. Sadly, we cannot accommodate half-yards at this time.
