Michel Tete Domaine du Clos du Fief La Roche

This minimal intervention, organically farmed Beaujolais bottling was grown on pink granite soils in the village of Julienas by a father and son team who are 4th generation vignerons. Sourced from 50 year old vines, this is made of 100% Gamay partially fermented using carbonic maceration, wherein the whole berries ferment from the inside out until they burst. The resulting wine is bright and vivid, with super fragrant blueberry fruit, excellent mineral depth, and velvety tannins.
